We are delighted to be kicking off the new year with an new album of harpsichord works by Jean-Philippe Rameau, performed by the distinguished harpsichordist and Baroque opera specialist James Richman. A Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and Artistic Director of the Dallas Bach Society, Richman has conducted over 100 performances of Rameau’s operas, bringing a uniquely deep understanding of the composer’s language, his theatrical sensibility and his profound connection to dance.
