JUST IN: The first named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season — Tropical Storm Andrea — has formed in the open waters of the North Atlantic as per the NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center. Developing between Bermuda and the Azores, Andrea briefly organized overnight with sustained winds of 40 mph, just enough to earn a name. But it won’t be around long.
